Next-X History:
U Following his departure from the X-Men, Piotr continued his art studies and photography. His venture into filmmaking began as a fluke. He was coerced by his friend and former team-mate, Jubilee, into directing her first music video for the "B" movie "Blast Girls!". The movie was a flop, but the video was an instant hit and was played in heavy rotation on MTV and VH1. It went on to win best video, and soon, Piotr was in demand as a director. He found that he enjoyed the medium and quickly learned the ins and outs of the trade. Later he compiled a documentary feature film chronicling the adventures, trials, and tribulations of the Uncanny X-Men, for which he won both a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. His follow-up film "Phoenix: Life, Death, Life" chronicled the sacrifice that Jean Grey made in order to save the world population from the Legacy Virus. It too was met with critical acclaim. He is in current negotiations to helm the newest Summer LaBoom action adventure.
