Personality: While Shaun usually seemed a typically happy, ladies man, good guy type before recent events, it would appear that his true nature is incredibly vicious and power hungry. It was just as much of a shock to him as it was to those around him when his true personality came out in a recent battle against Spitfire, who he almost killed. After his return to the Night Spot he became reclusive and refused to see anyone or even eat. He managed to pull himself together to deal with the threat of his sister, The Soul Stealer.
Personal Interests: Shaun was an avid collector of autographed movie memorabilia and had managed to get a hold of some very rare pieces including his prized Jack Nicholson signed glossy photo. He was also a massive Clint Eastwood fan, he liked to work out, eat Chinese food and watch movies from the 1970's. His fashion sense left a lot to be desired.
History: Facet's complete history remains Unrevealed at this time, but within the pages of The Extremists, he and the rest of the team have destroyed a mutant research facility in the English countryside, journeyed to New York to assist team mate, Mavryk in the search for her sister, Caprice, had a part in the rescue of Janie Steed from Veil and most recently took on Spitfire in a plot against her instigated by Prelate Voss (now known as The Grey Eminence) allthough he, nor the other five mutants know exactly who was behind the plot. Having refused to attack Spitfire, Voss released a mental block in Facet's head and allowed his true self to be come to the surface, much to the horror of everyone watching when he turned into a rampaging psychopath. He almost killed Spitfire but was defeated by Mavryk and Voss.
Facet had to deal with what happened to him and refused to leave his room for days after they returned back at the Night Spot.
What blocked Facet from remembering his past in the first place and what he exactly remembers from the recent ordeal was not been revealed, allthough he certainly retained some memory of those events judging by his sudden reclusivness, however he did not appear to have retained the vicious nature he displayed during it.
He emerged from his room when he felt the presence of his sister, The Soul Stealer in the Night Spot. They teleported away together, after she had defeated the Extremists attempt to stop her, and appeared not far from Stanton prison for super powered criminals. She had finally found her brother and together they would kill the prisoners and steal even more powers for themselves. Shaun had realised that by devouring too many powers in the first place is how he lost his memory and the control over his powers. His body had been overloaded and now she wanted him to help her to do the same. He tried to stop her, not only to prevent her from harming herself but more for the safety of the prisoners.
She managed to break into the prison without him after they fought, but he got in her way to prevent her from taking any lives. This resulted in a brawl between the two, pulling all kinds of powers out of the bag, but Facet was defeated when his sister sliced into his body. As he died, the Soul Stealer began to absorb all of his powers but as he had predicted, her body was soon overloaded and she went into a coma. Soul Stealer is currently still comatose and Shaun Lennox is buried in Highgate Cemetery in Hamstead Heath, London.
