Strength Level: Kayn possesses the normal strength
of an immortal who engages in intensive regular exercise.
Known Superhuman Powers: Nathan is a very powerful
mutant with the ability of time displacement. He has the ability to
transport himself and\or any one or group of individuals or objects
to any exact point in history, whether in the past or future. He can
physically slip in and out of time, and take someone with him if he
chooses, or simply thrust a number of different people into any number
of points in time that he chooses. He's been known to find it incredibly
amusing to thrust one's head into twentieth century B.C. whilst leaving
the rest of his victim's carcass to twitch and die in the present
time.
Kayn is capable of manipulating and viewing all of time in Vertigo
- the literal epitome
of all of time in which he resides. Through his studies in Vertigo
and his own seemingly endless life experiences, Kayn has become widely
intelligent, knowing all there is to know about earth's complete history,
from the dawn of life on the planet to the last days of the Apocalypse.
Kayn is also an immortal of the highest elite, who cannot age, and
cannot be killed by any mere mortal. He has an impeccable healing
and regeneration factor, as his body mends wounds within seconds of
their infliction, and can regenerate most if his appendages if her
were to lose one. To him it is a curse, both in his discrete inability
to end his ancient life, and the fact that he is literally the father
of all mutants, a race that he despises, as openly as he despises
himself.
It is specified that the only true way to kill this dangerous and
comparably psychotic mutant is either by the removal of his head or
heart from his body, and the complete destruction of the removed organ,
as they are the only two objects that he is unable to regenerate.
Abilities/Special
Skills: Kayn's a jack of all trades, having
picked up just about every survival skill one could think of over
his immensely long life. He's a rather talented thief and even better
stalker - not that those special skills are beneficial to anyone but
himself. All said, however, Kayn is not too terribly skilled at hand
to hand combat. He's far better at alluding conflict or utilizing
weapons of any sort.
Weapons Used: Kayn will utilized anything
he can pick up and beat people with as a weapon. He's definitely not
picky in how he inflicts pain. The result is always the same, after
all - "ouch". |

Personality:
Nathan is a complete head case, is sadistic,
sardonic, cynical and highly intellectual. He's often the quiet pondering
type, is inquisitive at times, but has an extremely short fuse, and
is one mean son of a bitch when he's mad. Despite his brilliant mind,
he is often highly irrational and illogical, harebrained, flighty,
and has an undeniably sick sense of humor, for what little humor he
has to spare.
Personal Interests: You don't even want to know.
History: As stated, Nathan McCreigh, Kayn, is
the father of all mutants. The original deviant genetic glitch that
started the formation of an entirely new race of people. He is immortal
and centuries old, very spiteful, bitter and hardly sane. Nate wants
nothing more then to be human, to be mortal, and at this point, to
be dead, a wish he will unlikely ever be granted. He hates the genetics
with witch he has been cursed, forever seeing himself and the race
he has spawned as little more the a hierarchy of genetic freaks. This
spite is one that has built up over time, and one that was sparked
to its greatest extent when he first found that he was to be cursed
with an unending lifespan when he was murdered at the age of 45. He
has spent his lifetime watching Mutant Kind evolve into a large and
thriving race and continues in an endless and comparably unsuccessful
attempt to advocate the end of his Children, Homo Superior. If he
cannot end his own treacherous existence, he figures, he will simply
end the lives of his offspring instead. |
