Strength Level: Kayo possesses the normal strength
of a human her age who engages in intense regular exercise.
Known Superhuman Powers: Kayo has Lupine Theriomorphic
capabilities. She is a metamorph, able to transform herself into a
wide range of canine-like creatures that may vary from a wolf pup
to a vicious werebeast. Chey is NOT a ‘werewolf’, however....
her shifts are triggered mentally, having absolutely nothing to do
with being regulated by the presence of a full moon. Kayo can take
on six primary forms: Human, Feral, Wolfen, Crinos, Wolf, and wolf
pup.
In her human form, outside of black eyes with red, glowing irises
and a shocking mane of knee-length blood red hair, Cheyenne looks
entirely normal. In her Feral form, her body increases in size, stamina
and some appearance. Her height increases from 4'9 to around 5'2.
Her senses become heightened in every respect and her agility, acuteness
and stamina increase dramatically. She gains pointed ears, razor sharp
canine teeth and black claws on her fingers and toes. Kayo's Feral
form is her preferred state of being and will most often be seen this
way. In Wolfen form, Kayo becomes a massive blood red werewolf type
creature that is nearly two and a half times her natural Human form
size and dexterity. The Wolfen form is capable of walking on its hind
legs or on all fours. Her Crinos form is a wolfen shape that lies
between her werewolf like Wolfen form and her completely average red
timber wolf form. The Crinos form, in all is simply a larger more
powerful form of her Wolf form. The Wolf form and Lupin Pup (wolf
puppy) form appear to be normal canines, only with shocking, deep
red fur.
Kayo is part of the mutant subspecies known as Ferals - she has inherited
mutant characteristics of a non-primate animal species. Like all Ferals,
she is afflicted with a genetic side effect known as the Blood Rage.
During a fit of this Rage a combination of spiked adrenaline, seretonin
and Feral pheromones causes her to spin off into an animalistic fit
of berserker fury in which she is both completely out of control of
her own actions and incredibly dangerous. More often then not these
Blood Rage fits trigger involuntary shifts into her most dangerous
canid form - a massive wolfen form reminiscent of a quadruped werewolf.
As is possible for most Ferals, with the onset of intense acquired
skill, it is possible to gain control over such Rages - however, it
can take years to gain the posterity needed to do so. Kayo in in the
midst of learning to conquer the beast within - when she manages to
do so entirely, this aspect of her mutations will make her a truly
lethal force to reckon with.
Besides having heightened senses, Kayo's mutation has granted her
with a tolerance to physical detriment- a both nulled and delayed
neurological reaction to physical injuries. She also has acquired
the ability to, in her human form, dispense Pyro-kinetic blasts. Her
ability to control the blasts is dangerously underdeveloped. Thus
far, the blasts are triggered by heightened emotional strain, though
when they are created, she is able to direct them and trigger them
mentally- though they’ve lurched out of control often, causing
unwarranted damage. Cheyenne cannot dispense her pyrokinetic blasts
whilst in any other form accept her Human and Feral forms. Thus, despite
their power, they are fairly limited in their usefulness, and if anything,
are little more then a hazardous pain in the ass. Chey tries to avoid
the use of the energy blasts, fearing their power and her lack of
dominance over it. The blasts can be dispensed through her arms or
her entire body as a whole, and are immensely powerful.
Abilities/Special
Skills: Kayo has a special rapport with canines
- through her own Feral instincts she can pretty much read the mannerisms
that makes up the animals' speech, and can communicate with them likewise.
What Kayo lacks in martial arts skills she makes up for in her ability
to simply tear the life out of an opponent, claws and fangs flying.
She's quick, agile, and her small stature often aids her in slinking
out of trouble. Kayo also has the rather acute ability to attract
the human male species, mock them, and then send them off with their
tail ducked between their legs.
Weapons Used: Kayo, more often then
not, prefers to fight weapons free. However, she'll sometimes utilize
a spear-tipped adamantium bo staff she received from Toad as a birthday
gift some 5 years ago. |

Personality:
Kayo is tremendously independent in her own
right. She follows her heart and her instincts and rarely takes 'no'
for an answer. She refuses to be bossed around or to take any flack
from the many prejudice humans out there, and she remains bold and
proud of who she is despite the society around her that has no qualms
about dejecting her. Kayo is also highly dependant in certain areas
of her life as well- she depends on the closeness of family, of friends
and, often to her greatest detriment, of Sabretooth, someone she's
grown quite attached to over the years, despite the man's psychocia.
This presence of both highly dependent and independent aspects of
Chey's personality often leaves her a mess of emotions.
Kayo relies heavily on her wolf-like Feral instincts to get her through
life in an other wise very human, generically industrial world, yet
another combination within her psyche that often leaves her at war
with both herself and the drastic differences between her human and
animalistic morals. She often feels tense and restricted around large
numbers of human or mutant norms, while she feels completely at home
around other Ferals, close friends or out on her own at one with nature.
Kayo is simply a complex woman - dangerous yet caring, badass but
bemusing, cynical yet insightful. While she often comes off as sly
and laid-back when around those she cares about most, she's more often
then not troubled by inner turmoil and a lifetime of hardship and
abuse.
Kayo is en route along a long-time recovery from depression due to
pass trauma, and yet, manages to remain a fairly strong, determined
young woman. She often finds herself fighting her in-bred hate for
authority and humanity, and yet is tremendously loving and loyal to
the selected few that she trusts. She’s a life-experienced character
who fears what may lie ahead, but tackles everything that comes at
her full-force. Cheyenne LeBeau’s life is based around the fusion
of drastic contradictions, and while it make life for herself and
those closest to her a challenge, she takes everything in stride.
Personal Interests: Comics, Art of any kind,
Rock & Techno music, goth\punk fashion, testing her own physical
endurance, pulling pranks, clubbing with the Nexus gals, and hopping
in the sack with Sabretooth. Kayo has a love for and an interest in
extreme sports as well, often tagging along with Inferno during his
skydiving and wakeboarding escapades. She adores animals of almost
any sort, including her father Gambit's rather obnoxious pet parrots,
Craps and Poker. One of Kayo's greatest recent loves is her son Riley
Cole, whom she adores caring for and is very protective of.
