Origin: Mammoth is a mutate, that is someone who has been mutated through artificial means. Mammoth’s superhuman powers derive from the genetic accelerators used by Brainchild.

Hair: Reddish brown.
Distinguishing Marks: Mammoth’s body is covered with long, reddish brown hair. He has large tusk like blades growing from the backs of his forearms. A side effect of Mammoth’s mutation is that he is now incapable of speech.
Strength Level: Mammoth possesses enhanced strength, the full extent of which has not been tested. However it appears to at least equal that of Minotaur, who possesses the ability to lift press approximately 70 tons.

History: Nothing is known of Mammoth’s life before he appeared with the Savages. It seems likely that the man who became Mammoth was one of the survivors of the attack that devastated the Savage Land. He was then mutated by Brainchild’s genetic accelerators so that his latent mutant abilities were activated. Mammoth and the other Savages were then sent by Brainchild to abduct the Hellion Teryn, so that her powers could be used to regenerate the Savage Land. During this mission, Mammoth stabbed Teryn’s team mate Minotaur, nearly killing him. The Savages were successful in their mission, and the land was at least partially restored. However, the procedure was interrupted and Brainchild was killed. Mammoth’s current whereabouts are unknown, but he is presumably still active in the Savage Land.
