Personality: Nemesis is obsessive – driven to avenge her parent’s deaths at the hands of Coercion. She has spent years in training, putting herself through a punishing routine of intensive exercise and weapons training. She is so fanatically devoted to her mission that she tends to rush in first and think about the consequences later.
Personal Interests: Unrevealed. Bearing in mind Nemesis’ obsessive devotion to her mission, it seems likely that her personal interests relate to her mission, such as deduction, weapons and physical training.
History: Very little is known of Donna Marceau’s past. It is known that her parents were killed by a strike team of the mutant hunting group Coercion. Donna – a child at the time – swore revenge, and dedicated her life to bringing Coercion to justice. She trained intensively and became an extremely efficient bounty hunter. At some point she became part of an organisation which outfitted her with advanced weaponry and her shuttlecraft. The exact nature of the organisation, and Nemesis’ relationship with them, has yet to be revealed. In recent years, Nemesis learned of a Coercion agent called Seraph, and devoted herself to tracking down this particular criminal. In doing so she intercepted a message linking Seraph to the costumed adventurer Laura Monikov, also known as Black. Nemesis researched Monikov and found that she had escaped from Coercion East, the only person ever to have done so. With a growing admiration for Monikov, Nemesis tracked her down, arriving as Black fought off a number of superhuman bounty hunters sent to recapture her and bring her back to Coercion. Nemesis planned to pretend to be a bounty hunter and deliver Black to Coercion, believing that this would cause Seraph to break cover and enable Nemesis to kill him. She was able to persuade Black to go along with this plan, however both of the women were ultimately captured by Coercion. Nemesis escaped from her cell in the Coercion East base, finding Monikov as she was being interrogated by Coercion East’s chief scientist Elena Kirova. Under torture Black confessed to being a Coercion field agent, among her crimes being the assassination of Nemesis’ own parents. Nemesis was recaptured and remains a prisoner of Coercion.
