Strength Level: Noir possesses the normal strength
of a human his age who engages in intensive regular exercise.
Known Superhuman Powers: Collin’s deadly,
almost satanic appearance mirror his powers in their dark nature.
Behind Noir's pitch-black eyes lies an extremely powerful and dangerous
telepathic ability. his mutation enables him to lock his own mind
onto his targets’ deepest paranoia’s and fears, and once
he does so, he is able to trigger those fears, causing his victims
to hallucinate. Once triggered, the person’s mind will literally
play out their worst fears right in front of them, or inflict them
upon them. Although they are never physically marred by Noir when
engulfed in his powers, they have the potential to be driven completely
insane, or in the worst scenarios, to self mutilation or suicide.
Noir’s ability has hit hard on his own emotions, because of
his love for life. He regrets the few lives that have been lost because
of them, but is still willing to use them when needed to further Nexus’s
fight against violent anti-mutant activists. Noir also has an advance
fighting capability, due more to his ample ability to concentrate
on anything and everything that goes on around him then because of
any mutation.
Abilities/Special Skills: Noir is very technologically
skilled and can hack into complex systems with the best of them. He's
an elite martial artist, and is, pun intended, a black belt. He is
also the most socially skilled individual out of the Nexus team members.
He draws people like flies and can get through to almost anyone who
will give him the time of day. Noir is also extremely talented in
composing electronic music.
Weapons Used: Noir rarely utilizes weapons while
fighting, preferring to use his own body as a weapon through his skills
in marital arts. |

Personality:
Collin its the class clown of the Nexus elite.
His unstoppable energy, comedic antics, and love for life and the
humor within it contrast starkly with the wicked, somewhat evil powers
he's been granted. He's a bouncy thing, always on the move, always
tinkering, always enamored with something, regardless of what. He
loves people, finding amusing aspects of even the most ignorant of
jerks, his team Nexus- his 'family'- are his heart and soul.
While Collin's dark attire and appearance resembles the foreboding
nature of his powers, it also manages to mirror the quirkiness of
his personality. Collin is tall, skinny and extremely lanky, resembling
somewhat of a cynic scarecrow cadaver. He's enamored with Gothic fashion,
feeling a connection with its dark appearance, and its peaceful, effortless
calm. He's always garbed in a black something, with collars, bondage
gear, jewelry, and has his tongue, ears, upper naval ridge, and something
else I'm not going to mention pierced. Collin also has a *thing* for
pointless knickknacks and junk, almost always running around with
pant pockets chock full of listless nothings, such as key chains,
used batteries, chewed erasers, decapitated Gumbie toys, those little
barn animal toys that poop, sporks.... you name it. If its bizarre,
its there.
Despite his loquacious, humorous, fun loving nature, Noir is on a
day-to-day struggle with what he good-naturedly has dubbed The Dark
Side. With his powers comes what has shown to be a dreadful link into
the epitome of Evil, Paranioa, Fear and Human suffering. He sees images
within his mind that would drive the average individual mad, and is
often ridden with images, thoughts and sensations that he is entirely
unsure of how to handle. This flaw plays havoc on his emotions, and
is the one thing in life that he truly hates. He is on massive amounts
anti depressant medication in order to curve what could eventually
lead to a complete emotional breakdown, and he continues to stress
ever so hard to over shadow his emotional trials and morbid inner
self with humor, smiles, and the love he gives to and receives from
the people around him.
Personal Interests: One of Noir's greatest talents
and interests is his love and exploration of techno shock rock music.
He composes his own music regularly under the tag name of, not surprisingly,
'Noir', having quite the large underground following online and on
his self-created music website hub. Noir is a computer and video game
fanatic, and loves to spend long stints on the internet. He's in the
midst of learning Wu Shu, and a few other various forms of martial
arts. He often gluts on anything edible, pulls the legs off of bugs,
and tickles the living snot out of the Nexus femmes. Collin likes
cheesy b-rated movies, watching old 19th century sitcoms, (particularly
The Iron Chef), techno\rock music, Japanese anime (scantily clad women
are always a plus) collecting various tidbits of pointless junk, cracking
jokes, perusing a slight infatuation with Annex, and holding needed
objects completely out of Kayo's reach, because the girl is just SO
damned short.
