Personality: Due to the dual nature of her power she is not the easiest person to be around one minute she could be cold and calculating and the next as hot headed as Wolverine on his worst day.
Personal Interests: Because of her mother’s status as a mutate, Jackie has kept close ties within that community. She does her best to keep their best interests in mind, often being the champion of initiatives to improve the mutates’ standard of living.
History: Jackie’s mother was a Genoshan mutate so she raised her daughter to respect them. She and Jackie’s father were apparently killed defending Magneto and Genosha from a coup attempt. Jackie was taken in and raised by Surge's parents Havok and Val Cooper but she has continued to visit the Mutate hostels and other settlements. Since coming to live with Philip and his family she convinced him to join her. Because of Havok’s loyalty to Magneto she and Philip were two of the few people who have gotten to know Tesla, Magneto’s daughter with Polaris, well.
Jackie and Philip have come to regard each other as siblings and they consider Tess their closest friend. They met some of the children of their father’s former teammates when they accompanied Tess to New York when she went to plead with Professor Xavier to help her father. They had to stay behind when Tess returned to Genosha and as a result were part of the major battle and the gestalt that was created to defeat the Phalanx once and for all. After it was all over she and Surge went home to Genosha and have been helping their parents and best friend keep up the illusion of Magneto’s power.
