Origin: Jack Sparks is a mutant and was born with his powers allthough they didn't manifest until he reached puberty.

Distinguishing Marks: Sparks has a large scar on his right calf from a confrontation with the Mercenary/Assassin, Veil.
Strength Level: Sparks possesses the normal strength of a human his age who engages in intensive regular exercise.
Known Superhuman Powers: Sparks draws energy from the tectonic plates to create tremors. The tremors are more signifigant, depending on what part of the world he's in. Where tectonic activity is more likely, the more intense and powerful his tremors are.
Jack also has limited telepathic abilities. He can link his mind with other telepaths with ease. But for those with little to no telepathic powers he finds it more difficult, but not impossible. They have to be close by on both counts as he can't just comunicate with people he can't see or isn't psysically close to.
His telepathic abilities also give him psychic defenses and he is immune to some telepathic attacks. If a high level telepath were to attack his mind, he'd not stand a chance. But for example, his team mate, Vixen Blue has mind control abilities but they don't phase him.
Abilities/Special Skills: Jack is versed in some forms of hand to hand combat and has weapons training. He is an experienced driver, has a particular talent as a bouncer/doorman and is undefeated at Chess...but then he hasn't ever played anyone that good.

Personality: Jack regards himself as reasonably intelligent, but the myriad of mistakes and embarassments that have plagued him throughout his life thus far seem to indicate that perhaps he's not the sharpest tool in the chest. He seems to be destined to screw up. His life skills are highly questionable, despite his best efforts to make the right decisions. And now, at 32, he finds himself a part of a team of "extremist" mutants who blow up mutant research facilities and work in a nightclub in their free time.
Jack spends most of his time wishing he were somewhere else. He likes his own company, but always seems to find himsef with company, whether he wants it or not. He's even unsure of how he ended up married. He was grateful that he hadn't any children with her to add to the fun.
Personal Interests: Sparks enjoys thumping people, throwing people in the gutter and feeling good about himself afterwards which just about sums up his job at the Night Spot. He also loves to play chess, eat out and take time out to rest. He's not a big fan of any particular kind of music, but he does love to relax to calm tunes. He's also recently become involved in a relationship with Janie Steed, a friend of his team mate, Ashen.
History: The majority of Sparks history is yet to be revealed. He has an estranged wife and is currently living in London's Night Spot. Sparks has helped disable a mutant research facility along with the rest of the team, and is currently situated in the Night Spot in London awaiting the return of five of his team mates.
He recently took Janie Steed to dinner only to have it ruined by said estranged wife. And afterwards, she was kidnapped. Not a great date at best. The situation was resolved a short time later and Jack and Janie are now a couple.
Shortly after the kidnapping, Sparks and some of his team mates went to rescue with Deadpool and managed to get Janie back.
Jack is currently trying to discourage his girlfriend, Janie from becoming a Private Investigator in London.
