Strength Level: Vermin possesses superhuman
strength. He can lift/press approximately 1 ton. Vermin’s leg
muscles are considerably stronger.
Known Superhuman Powers: Vermin possesses a
range of superhuman abilities. In addition to his natural claws and
fangs, and his superhuman strength, Vermin can move at incredible
speed. His reaction time and reflexes are considerably faster than
a human being. Vermin also possesses the ability to harm a person
by touching them. By making physical contact Vermin can impair a person’s
health. He can cause a variety of effects: He can cause blindness,
deafness and paralysis, and there may be other harmful effects which
have not yet been revealed. The severity and duration of these impairments
depends on the length of time Vermin maintains contact. Vermin refers
to this power as infecting, but it is not apparent whether Vermin
is actually transmitting a disease. It seems more likely that the
harm he causes is a psychic attack, some form of disruptive bio-manipulation.
Abilities/Special Skills: Vermin possesses only
rudimentary intelligence. He can barely speak, and is incapable of
reading and writing. He can climb expertly using his claws to scale
surfaces which would be all but impossible to a human climber, and
is a dangerous, though untrained, hand to hand combatant.
Weapons Used: None, other than his natural claws
and fangs. |

Personality:
Vermin is a predator. He is driven by
animal instincts, and enjoys hunting and killing. Like his team-mates
Vermin is a bully, preferring to prey on those weaker than himself.
Personal Interests: Vermin possesses only rudimentary
intelligence. He enjoys hunting and killing. He seems to enjoy the
company of his fellow mercenaries.
History: The circumstances of Vermin’s
birth have not been revealed, but it has been theorised that his parents,
unable to deal with such a visibly mutated child, abandoned him at
an early age. At some point he found his way into the Morlock tunnels
beneath New York City, where he grew to adulthood. As he grew more
confident in his abilities Vermin began to go to the surface at night
to hunt, and his frequent attacks led to the police giving him the
name Vermin. Hunted as a serial killer, Vermin was sought out by Rage
who was forming a gang. Vermin remained with the team until it was
disbanded, and resumed his old sewer dwelling lifestyle until Rage
reformed the team, to gain revenge against the reformed Ace and Sight.
Following their defeat by the Wildcards, Vermin remained with Cain
and Dwarf and the three are earning a living as mercenaries. |
