History:
Samhain
is a demon and a demi-god of the ancient world. At some point in the past
his physical body was destroyed, but he continued to exist in the demonic
dimension of the more powerful Elder God, Chthon. Samhain was able to
mystically maintain a link with earth, where he became the object of worship
of a cult. One of the cultists offered his own body as a vessel for Samhain
on Earth. He then gathered other demons to him, setting up headquarters
in Wundagore Mountain, the tomb of Chthon's earthly essence. With his
trusted lieutenants, the Horde, Samhain developed a plan to shatter the
barriers between the Earth and Chthon's dimension of exile, ultimately
turning the Earth into a nightmare world which Chthon would rule through
them.

Distinguishing marks: Beltane is a being composed entirely of Darkforce energy. He can control and alter his shape, but usually appears in human form, the darkforce contained in a suit of armour.
Strength level: Unknown. Presumably superhuman, but the upper levels of his physical strength have yet to be demonstrated.
Powers and abilities: Beltane is capable of using magic to levitate himself, form teleportation portals, fire bursts of magical energy and heal any damage to himself and his armour. Beltane's body is living Darkforce energy. Thus, he can reshape his body, teleport through shadows, and form his own dark matter into various weapons.
History: Beltane is a demon, a demi-god of the ancient world fallen into corruption and black magic. At some point in the past, Beltane's physical body was destroyed, but through his knowledge of magic, Beltane was able to preserve his existence by converting his body into Darkforce energy. Most of Beltane's life is a mystery, until he was detected by Samhain and convinced to join the Horde.

use black magic to perform teleportation, telepathy and mind control.
She has also shown an ability to manipulate darkforce energy which she
uses to disguise herself and as an offensive weapon. She is also capable
of implanting a sliver of her own consciousness in an unsuspecting victim,
enslaving them.

Perdition
is a demon, a demi-god of the ancient world. At some point, Perdition's
physical form was destroyed, and her spirit was banished to the demonic
dimension ruled by the Elder God, Chthon. But Perdition, who delighted
in ruling and conquering mortals, continued to manifest herself on Earth
in dreams and visions, and had soon become an object of worship - the
focus of a secret cult who she kept loyal through blackmail, or by offering
rewards and promises. One of her acolytes offered herself as a vessel
for Perdition, and enabled the demon to return to Earth.

is a demon, who's spirit inhabits an enchanted weapon - a long hafted
double bladed battle axe. Maaxa's personality and power is such that anyone
who picks up the axe falls under the control of the demon, unless they
have a strong enough will to resist.

Maaxa endows the bearer of the axe with superhuman strength, the exact
limits of which have not been revealed.
Powers and abilities: Maaxa
endows the bearer with superhuman strength and incredible resistance to
injury, disease, and temperature extremes. Maaxa creates magical armour
on the host, decorated with runes of power. The Axe Maaxa is apparently
indestructible and can cut through any substance. Maaxa can channel devastating
bursts of energy from the haft or blade. The Axe will still retain its
link to its host even if they are not in physical contact, enabling the
axe to be thrown as a ranged weapon.

Maaxa
is a demon, a demi-god of the ancient world. Maaxa's original form was
human and presumably a woman. At some point in the past the physical body
was destroyed, but Maaxa's spirit continued to exist in the weapon that
she had carried while alive. When the axe is touched, Maaxa is able to
take over the actions of the bearer, and with her magic, change the victim
to a new demonic form, perhaps mirroring that of the original demon.

fully tested. However it seems that he fits into the 'Class 100' category,
meaning that he can lift/press 100 tons under optimal conditions.
Powers and abilities: Herne
possesses superhuman strength and endurance, and his body is almost completely
impervious to harm. Herne is also a practitioner of the black arts, although
most of his spells are devoted to improving his prowess in battle. He
has a mental affinity with his hounds, and is resistant to the effects
of psychic powers.
History: Herne
is a demon, a demi-god of the ancient world. At some point in the past,
Herne was either banished from the earth, or his physical body was killed.
Herne however, continued to exist, his spirit fleeing to the demon realm
of the Elder God, Chthon. Still able to contact humans on Earth, especially
those caught up in the thrill of battle, Herne developed a small but fanatically
loyal cult of worshippers, and through this cult was able to physically
return to the Earth by possessing a willing host body. On his return he
was contacted by Samhain who, recognizing Herne as one of the most powerful
demons on Earth, wanted to recruit him for his Horde. Herne agreed and
became the Horde's champion.
