Carrie Conway helped defeat the demonic Horde's invasion of Earth, but at a terrible cost. Resting at the X-Mansion
and attending the memorial service to the fallen, Carrie has begun to question whether she can continue
as the heroine Spitfire. Turning down an invitation to join the Neo-X team she has returned to London
to be with her friends and family. But having defeated the Horde's demons, she finds that her own inner
demons are even more formidable.
